How do we design an effective interface to help healthcare providers and staff seamlessly manage clinical/clerical tasks in the newly launched Ontada Health Administration Portal?

We became part of the Ontada team—working side-by-side with the product team, engineers and designers—to drive alignment and develop a research-informed administrative portal for providers and staff to comprehensively meet customer needs. 

Through a combination of UX research and design thinking, we identified how to provide users with functional task management for Triage, eRegistration, and Support Tools, while delivering an exceptional experience. 

The Result

• Completed two successful, discovery research pilots to inform function and design and optimize UX – one for triage, one for necessary support tools.

• Supported existing team of designers with delivery work and overall execution of design deliverables. 

• Delivered a library of templates and presentations providing guidance on future UX research.

• Shared best practices for ongoing engagement as Ontada’s processes continue to evolve. 

The Outcome

We helped the Ontada team deliver the overall design for the new Health Administration Portal on time to meet the product launch deadline. The new portal is now live for customer use.
